أسباب غياب التلاميذ و التلميذات عن المدارس في ضوء آراء تلاميذ و تلميذات المرحلة المتوسطة : دراسة نفسية تربوية

Abstract EN

This study was undertaken to understand the causes for boys and girls absence from intermediate schools.

In order to achieve this objective the researcher used the descriptive analysis.

Questionnaires were developed and a pilot study was conducted to make an item analysis and select the present questionnaires items, using a sample of 80 boys and 80 girls from intermediate school in Madinah.

Sociocultural Status Survey Form of Mansy and Abdul Gawwad (1985) also were used.

The randomly selected sample consisted of 140 boys and 140 girls attending intermediate school in Madinah.

Results showed that the causes for students absence are related to teachers, curriculum, schools environment, students interest toward studying, mental hygiene of the students, and parents attitudes.

There were significant relationships between boys and girls responses about absences causes.
