This paper handles the importance of school Lexicon for children.

School Lexicon began as lexical abbreviations, then it developed to children lexicons in modern era.

They had some characteristics: they were built on individual efforts; they did not balance between contemporary terminology and heritage words, and some of this Lexicon used the method of pronunciation contrary to the assets of the Arabic language.

The paper studied four modern Arab experiences in this context.

They are: Morrocco, Tunisia, Syria, and Saudi Arabia.

Then the research presented reading of the words in the Lexicon of Palestinian children’s stories, which include many linguistic inaccuracies needing revision and correction.

In the end, the paper stressed that, we need Palestinian school Lexicon for ourschool, and we should teach Computational Linguistics at undergraduate stage.
