Abstract EN

The distributed database is one of the most important developments in the field of databases, this technology has matured as a result of the evolution of distributed processing, so database management system distributor appeared.

This great development in databases and networks result to appear a new concept called e-government, which has become an important features to developed countries.

In this work we have databases for the Department of Statistics in Basra General Hospital and Almawni hospital include information about the birth and death certificates.

We created a database for the Basra Health Department, which is considered as the central database for all the hospitals and the of birth and death offices in Basra.

A database has been Created the Department of Civil Status citizenship and linked with the Basra Health Department., The citizens has been linked via Civil Affairs Department in order to fill the application form included he./she photo of the citizen.

The Department of governorate security was linked with a database of the Civil Status to add a required information about any citizen in the field of security of the governorate only.

Finally, the databases was connected the Department of certificate of Iraqi nationality and the Department of Civil Affairs.

This project was implemented using the Oracle database system v.10.
