Abstract EN
If the majority, see the entirety definitions of social entrepreneurship are endeavoring to define it as a private initiative aiming the collective interest, adopting an entrepreneurial approach to satisfy economical objectives (the production of the goods and services) and social objectives (the fight against the social exclusion, the unemployment …), without looking for a maximum profit.
In a logic of respect of ethics and beliefs.
Similarly, the eradication of poverty, socio-economic justice and equitable distribution of wealths are among the principal objectives of the Islam.
Thus, social entrepreneurship tries to reply to the same issues to which ones the Islam has long been trying to solve.
In this sense Islam has the solutions to the problems of ES.
In our paper, we will try to present the contribution of Islamic finance in the achievement of the objectives of both Islam and social entrepreneurship.
