Cet article traite de l'influence de la nouvelle technologie de communication sur la socialization de l'individu au sein de la famille urbaine algérienne, en une période où le monde est devenu un petit hameau grâce aux nouveaux moyens d'information qui ne croient ni aux frontières ni aux distances.

Cette technologie a pu pénétrer la particularité culturelle de la famille en milieu social algérien et est devenue une source principale et primordiale dans la socialisation.

Elle peut façonner l'individu et le rendre actif et positif, comme elle peut faire de lui un individu marginal et négatif.
