If Niels Bohr has introduced in physics so deep changes as those which have accompanied the birth of the modern science of nature in the XVIe and XVIIe, it is because he is a physicist and a philosopher, too.

The fundamental role he plays in the formation of Quantum theory between 1913 and 1927 leads him, in fact, to suggest with the notion of “complementarity” a new interpretation of object concepts and of a phenomenon which transforms the general conception of science and anticipates on many aspects of the contemporary epistemology.

Bohr’s work insists in thinking that this revolution in the principles of natural philosophy as Kant had defined them and as the tradition of the German Physics of the XIXe, had submitted them to a constant debate.

Formal difficulties of atomic physics are not, according to Bohr, separated from the paradoxes they involved language fields, of the knowledge theory and human sciences.
