Abstract EN

This study aimed at examining the attitudes of the talented school teachers in Jordan towards applying quality assurance criteria in their schools.

The population of the study consists of all male and female teachers in the talented schools in Jordan during the 2nd semester of (2009 / 2010).

A questionnaire has been developed according to the theoretical framework of the study and on previous studies, assurance of the questionnaire’s consistency and reliability, distribution of the questionnaire and conducting of proper statistical processing to answer the study’s questions.

The results of the study revealed that the attitudes of the talented school teachers in Jordan towards applying quality assurance is positively high, there are no statistically significant differences at (∞ ≤ 0, 05) with gender difference, education qualification, experience, and major towards applying quality assurance criteria in their schools.

In accordance with these results, the researcher recommends the adoption of quality assurance criteria, and applying them through the establishment of units to manage and assurance of quality in talented schools, and work towards the development of these attitudes and values in order to build a steady regulatory culture for quality assurance and ways to implement them : with all school’s staff, principals, teacher, assistants and workers in those schools.
