In the introduction of the article, the grammatical functions of the conjunction an al- za'idah are spelled out.

The first part concerns the four well-known positions of an al-za ’idah: (''after lamma corresponding to law (lamma al-muqdbilah li law); ("'between the verb of oath (fi'l al-qasam) and law; (‘"'between kaf in similes (kdf al-tashbih) and the noun governed by it (al-ism al-majrur biha); (|v,and after idhd.

In the second part the author identifies the less known positions of an al-za ’idah.

He maintains that there are ten of these: (‘'between md laka or one of its counterparts and la; (il'in ammd in one of Abu Dhu’aib al-Hudhali’s verses of poetry: ,nl)after md of negation (md al-nafiyah) in a poetic verse by Abi Qais ibn Rifa‘ah; ("'after likay; (''after lam of denial (lam al-juhud); (v,'after IValia in a certain poetic verse; (V11'after the lightened amd (ama al-mukhajfafah);

The third and final part sums up the meaning of an al-zd ’idah and its rules.

Within its rules mention is made of its indications, origin and pausal mode.
