This research deals with the spread of Al-Awza’iyyah legal doctrine (Madhab) in Al-Andalus, and the historical circumstances accompanying its spread and presence there during the political transition in Andalusia between the era of governors and the era of the Umayyad Emirate (the second half of the second century H.

and early third century H).

An attempt will be made to investigate reasons behind its proliferation and the factors for its receding and their timeline.

This paper, also seeks to explore the scientific and cultural impact of A1-Awza’iyyah in Al-Andalus, whether it was settled in the Andalusian mind or present over its land.
