Abstract EN

This research aim to examine the relationship between delinquency and domestic violence among adolescent boys enrolled in private and governmental secondary schools in Bethlehem district.

It also aim to examine whether differences in delinquency among boys is influenced by number of family members and parents' work.

Random stratified sample of 1174 students, was chosen from 16 public and private schools in Bethlehem district.

The sample represents % 18.8 of the research community.

Findings show significant relationship between delinquency in boys and domestic violence, significant statistical differences in delinquency in boys according to the number of family members exists- children in families with high number of children (more than 9 or fewer number (less than 3) have less delinquency than in families with average number of children (5 ).

furthermore, there are statistical significant differences in the level of delinquency among boys according to their parents' work, however these differences are related to the work of the mother only and are not related to the work of the father.

Delinquency is higher among children of working mothers than among children with non-working mothers.
