Abstract EN

The most of Arab civil legislations define particularly the contract of insurance.

These definitions were often object of critical discussions of doctrines.

Thus, other doctrinal definitions were appeared for the same contract, but they were not sufficiently correct, and the legal discussed definitions were more accurate than the doctrinal deftnitions were.

Even how various are both of legal and doctrinal definitions, most of them are not covered; often, they are imperfect, obscure, or felled in details.

This study is trying to figure out the correct required characteristics of the definition of insurance contract, and to present clearly its idea.
