This study aims to investigate the effect of implementing a learning program based on the Habits of Mind strategy in the development of iogic^/maftematicai intelligence and on the achievement of the second-grade intermediate school students.

The study sample, which was a selective sample, included all students (N = 12)in second grade who were enrolled in Andalusia Intermediate School in the city of Al-Hufof in Saudi Arabia during the second semester of the academic year (1432-1433).

This study adopted the (}uas؛-exper؛mental design, the learning program was implemented to the experimental group only the study ،١٠# instruments: a logical/mathematical intelligence test and an achievement test, were pre-post-tested at the beginning and at the end of the learning program to collect the data from both the experimental and control groups.

The reliability of the logical/mathematical intelligence test was confirmed by the test - retest method (0.83) and by Cronbach’s alpha method (0.93).

In addition, the Cronbach’s alpha for the achievement test was (0.86).

Data were analysed quantitatively; and the findings of the study revealed that there are statistically significant differences (a = 0.05) between the experimental and control groups in the logical/mathematical intelligence test favouring the experimental group.

However, the analysis did not show a statisticaHy significant difference between the experimental group and control group in student achievements.
