Abstract EN

This study aims at examining the impact of using critical method to teach 7th graders on their achievement and development of their attitudes towards science subject.

The sample of the study consisted of (60) male students of the 7th grade, who were randomly divided into two groups, experimental group studied through a critical method.

The other was the control group, receiving teaching through the traditional method.

To achieve the aims of the study, two tools were used : Achievement test & Attitudes scale towards Science Subject.

The results showed that there was a statistically significant difference between the mean scores on the achievement test and on the attitudes scale towards science subject, that can be attributed to the instructional method in favor of the experimental group.
