Maps are devices that every geographer needs in studies of human and natural geography.

It is not possible for geographical study to be complete and to accomplish its objectives without depending on and providing maps.

Hence, this study is an attempt to prepare an atlas for Infrastructure services in AL- Najaf city (Road ) that contains the human and natural maps is effective in Infrastructure services and which can be used as a database for the human and natural characteristics of the AL- Najaf city.

The researcher made use of the GIS ( Geographical Information System ) technique to produce the maps of the atlas because it provided developed techniques to prepare, design and up-date the maps and, thus, producing very highly accurate maps in connection to the land location system and the geographical signaling and demonstrating the spatial variations of the geographical phenomena.

Particularly, the GIS provided the possibility of the best treatment, handling, analyzing, storing and up-dating the data whatever their amount was.

Many conclusions have been manifested from the connection of the data and results of the different stages of the present study , these are :- The linear symbols which is represented by easy lines that represented the network of Roads.
