Abstract EN
This research article covering the analysis of statistical status indicators with Malaysian Zakat institutions and measuring growth rates, it was an attempt in order to analyze exactly the values of Zakat officially and potential comparing with GDP.
In the same way, we were looking for official and potential Zakat to the output of GDP in Algeria.
Due to the nature of the rentier Algerian economy, which is based essentially on the hydrocarbon sector , we will calculate the percentage of assumed Zakat sometimes we use the outputs of the hydrocarbon sector; in other times we excluded it.
All of these operations for making comparisons between macroeconomic indicators and the performance of variable Zakat element in both Algerian and Malaysian Zakat institutions.
