Abstract EN

This study aims to highlight the legitimate the purpose of limit penalties, and to respond to allegations of the tendentious that limit penalties are violation of human rights.

In order to achieve these goals the study came after introduction in: two sections, and a conclusion.

The first section viewed the legitimate purposes of the general sanctions; gave detail in the purpose of building of religion, and the purpose of scold, deterrence and protection of society, and the purpose of compassion with the criminal and repair his and the purpose of establishing the principle of justice in society.

The second section talked about the legitimate purposes of partial sanctions; highlighted the legitimate purposes of: capital murder, penalty for adultery, penalty of slander, penalty of robbery, penalty of drinking alcohol, and punishment of apostasy.

The study has reached in the conclusion to a number of results and recommendations fall upon the Muslim within the framework of legal objectives, and upon the non-Muslims within the framework of morality and human values.
