Banks are exploiting their functions must provide the element of liquidity , so they seek the money market to refinance , we aim at this research to give an estimating of the Algerian money market as an important source to refinance , and there are other sources like is still a significant source upon which commercial banks in particular and economic activity in general are relied on .

in addition the central banks have always intervened to regulate it , there by it considers an important way to effect on the banks cash reserves.
