The present study aimed at investigating the relationship between psychological security and loyalty to country among university students.

It also examined the effect of gender (male – female) on the psychological security and loyalty to country among those students.

The study sample consisted of 373 male and female students at the fourth year in Faculty of Education and Faculty of Arts, Benha University, 174 male and 199 female, aged 21-23 years old.

The study tools were a scale of psychological security and a scale of loyalty to country, both developed by the present study author.

The study findings revealed that there was a statistically significant positive correlation relationship between the study sample's scores on the psychological security scale and its dimensions and those on the scale of loyalty to country and its dimensions.
