Abstract EN

The Attitude of Imam bin abd al-Barr al-Qurtubi toward the transmitters Justice and Related Matters.

This research presents a clear idea about Imam Ibn Abd al-Barr and his attitude concerning the transmitters justice and his view on matters which make the transmitter unreliable and unjust, it shows also the characteristics of the transmitter to accept his transmission, and the judgment concerning the transmission from one who forgets his Hadith.

Furthermore, it makes clear his view on the Known phenomenon in the history of Hadith criticism, i.e.

the talking of scholars about each others shortcomings, its reason, its controlling rules and its remedy.

The research discusses the criticism of some scholars to the concept of justice and the problem of ‘Irja’ according to Ibn Abd al -Barr
