Abstract AR

The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of an educational Program Based on the theory of mind in the improve the quality of life among intellectual and developmental disabilities children.

the study consisted of (n = 74) children (n = 48 male), (n = 26 females) their age ranged between (6-9) years with an average age of (7.09) years, and standard deviation of(1.63).

the study designed an educational program based on the Theory of Mind including 32 training activities, for two and half months, the researcher prepared the quality of life scales in the home environment.

After data acquisition , arithmetic mean, standard deviations, T-test, and Albramitri Wilcoxon W, and the use of analysis of covariance (ANCOVA), were used in the analyses of the results, the study concluded with the following results: ? The superiority of the experimental group in function in all seven dimensions in the quality of life scale on multi-dimensional performance.

There were differences in favor of males in the quality of life in the scale of the method application.

As shown by the absence of such differences in the interaction between gender and the program.

The study recommends the need to address quality of life for people with disabilities.
