The study investigates the question that concerns indivi dual freedom and its impact on human development.

In order to answer this question, the study reviews the historical development of individual liberties and it identifies the basic foundations of global human development.

The study finds that there is a direct positive correlation between advocating individual freedom and human development.

Freedom urtailment, imposing restrictions on citizens exclusionism and abuse of power lead to human capital flight on the one hand.

On the other hand, these factors le ad to violence, terrorism, a state of inattention and chaos.

The outcome is that the nation is deprived of their potential and productive efforts.
