Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the views of students in the teaching performance of faculty teaching staff members in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Wadi Al-Dawasir, Salman bin Abdul Aziz University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the influencing factors in the evaluation.

The study sample consisted of 148 students in the second semester of the academic year 2013-2014.

Findings of the study that the study areas all affect a high degree in the students' assessment of the performance of the faculty in the department members where field evaluations came the first place while the field of teaching qualifications and skills operations came in second place and rank last in communication and personality traits operations have all been statistically significant.

The results of the study indicated also that the students' assessment of the performance of the faculty members in the department were affected by the variables of the study: member nationality, academic rank of the member, courses, the academic level of the students, the submission date of the questionnaire.

All of these variables have been statistically significant.

In the light of the results of the study, several recommendations have been made.
