Abstract EN
The Study is aimed at identifying؛ the professional roles of Gifted counselor, assessing the degree of practice of these roles from gifted student's view, detemining obstacles that prevent the gifted counselor from performing his expected roles then suggesting proposal for improving counceling the gifted.
The research sample consisted 00و3)ء) gifted students and (23)؛؛ifted counselors .Measures of assessing the performance of students gifted counselors and scale of obstacles of counseling the gifted were applied.
Using descriptive approach according to the method of systems analysis and using the chi-square test for good fitness and one sample t- test .The study proved that there are deficiencies in the performance of gifted counselor from student's view and there are obstacles that related to the counselors himself ;the teachers, the gifted students, the student family and the school.
In the light of these résultés the researcher suggests a proposal for improving gifted counseling.
