The aim of this article is to explain the importance of collecting manuscripts and to warn against breaking its rules.

Furthermore, the article indicates the scientific constraints for choosing the manuscript copies in the process of editing according to the rules set by the scholars of hadith.

The Uninis edition Of al-Bukhari’s Sahih was presented as an example for applying and following the rules in this field at a time when nobody had any idea about these rules.
