Abstract EN

In the context of the Arabic reactions against the Zionists colonial settlers‚ in palestine in the era between (1920-1939).

The Arabic press in Syria‚ Iraq and Egypt faced the plan of Zionist settlment and the British mandate system by a rejection.It had taken in consideration the duty of enlightnment of the Arabic Islamic views about the real face of Zionism and its plan of spreading in Palistine.

The Algerian Arabic press played a role too‚ by informing the people about the dangers of Zionism in general and in Palestine for specific.

It pushed them and encouraged the Palestinians on their issus.

One of the major press of the Algerian reformer was by "Ibrahim Abu Yakdan″ (1888-1973) which was a series of newspaper : Oued Mizab (1926-1929), Mizab (1930), El Maghreb (1930), El Nour (1931-1933) and El umah (1934-1938).These newspapers were at the forefront, that gave importance to the palestinian crisis.It took positive and brave decisions against the British Belfour promise.

The press of Abu Yakdan revealed the British policy in Palestine.It glorified the Palestinian resistance and it denounced all the plans to devide the region, in between the wars.

The yakdanic press condemned the western seactions whish support Zionism and be with the jews rather than the origin Palestinian people through history.

The yakdanic press had played a great rol to enlight the Algerian view about the exterme doctrine of Zionists and its risk on muslims in general and Palestine in specific.
