Previous studies emphasized the importance of positive approaches among teachers to ensure they optimally carry out their roles and tasks.

the present research aimed to investigate the relationships between the approaches of inintermediate schools Arabic teachers towards the teaching profession and their teaching performance in Al-Qassem region.

The researcher conducted a survey study on a number of teachers of Arabic in Al-Qassem region to initially identify their approaches towards teaching.

The results of the study showed that the teachers were not satisfied with their roles and they were not keenly interested in teaching as a profession.

Furthermore, they did not try hard to develop and improve themselves for a better status nor did they try to update their knowledge about teaching.

This reflects per se the real problems.

The issue that the study tried to investigate was the dire need to investigate the relationships between the approaches of the teachers of Arabic in intermediate schools towards the teaching profession and their teaching performance levels through finding an answer to the following research question: What is the relationship between the teachers of Arabic in intermediate schools and their teaching performance in Al-Qassem region? The researcher designed a measure for the approaches of the teachers of Arabic in teaching and applied a note card especially made for the approaches of the teachers of Arabic and their teaching performance levels.

The study results showed that the approaches of the teachers of Arabic towards teaching did not live up to the required level (80%).

As for the note card, the results of the study showed that the teaching performance of the teachers of Arabic did not reach the required level (80%).

The study ends with several recommendations
