العربية عنيت بوصل الجمل بعضها لبعض و ذلك لوفرة الضمائر و دقة دلالتها على المفرد و المثنى و الجمع و المذكر و المؤنث....
و أدوات العطف بمعانيها المختلفة و غيرها.
و لذلك علماء النحو قديما عنوا بالجملة و تراكيبها، و أما في الدراسات اللغوية الحديثة فإنهم اهتموا بالنص و مكوناته.
إن علم النص تميز بحداثته، و تنوع موضوعاته، و تعدد مدارسه، حتى ظهرت العديد من المصطلحات الخاصة به.
كما تكمن أهميته في المزاوجة بين المصطلحات اللسانية الحديثة و المصادر الحديثة و المصادر التراثية الأصيلة، و إن عدم تكوين نظرية متكاملة في اللغة العربية لا يعنى أن العلماء العرب لم يتجاوزوا حدود الجملة إلى النص، و لكن التطبيقات النصية لديهم تعكس بجلاء أهمية النظرة الشمولية للنص.
Abstract EN
Thanks to the existence of pronouns and precise reference to number, Arabic dealt with connecting sentences to each other.
Linguists in the past were interested in the sentence and its structure, but now they are more interested in the text.
Text grammar has developed considerably.
Arabic linguists are trying to employ its new findings and their grammatical legacy.
Although no one comprehensive theory has been put forward, Arabic linguists have still been concerned with and made some developments in the understanding of the text as such.
