Abstract EN

This paper depends on descriptive and analytic method to investigate the rules of using the great name "Allah" in morphology, syntax, and grammar.

It is noticed that the word "god" does not be used in some grammatical and syntactical places in Arabic language, because of the peculiarity of this word.

So, when we use this word we have to depend on two criteria: the first one is the Islamic low, and the second is the Arabic linguistics.

If there is a contradiction between these two criterions, the Islamic law has priority to the rules of language in viewing the great name "Allah".
