Abstract EN

The Islamic banks play an important role in attracting savings and directing them over to legitimate economic activities.

These blanks as well have a very critical role in disseminating saving and investment awareness among proportional dices of the public in the Islamic world, so they are in need of more investment and financial tools that help them to engage in this role up to the mark.

The plan adopted by these Islamic banks by cutting part of the depts, due to them in return of having debtors pay back or settle dept installments, contributes in realizing the goal intended by this plan, so that they can get back their debts against the customers and henceforth pump them out in other economics and investment activities, so as to avoid inflation that may swallow all returns due as debt service which the debtors may slacken to pay in time.

This study has highlighted this issue after pinpointing its concept, and the rules that cover it and revealing all its banking applications with the view of declaring its permissibility and making a recommendation for the Islamic banks to necessarily to act upon it and to extend over their banking applications.
