Abstract EN

The argument of this research is based on the syntactical disagreements among scholars in the Nouns section in Surat Al-Baqarah in the Holy Quran.

It explains the views 0f scholars, ancient and modern, regarding those nouns.

Also it seeks to investigate the most important synt actical disagreements about those nouns in addition to showing the attitudes of those scholars as far as those topics are concerned.

It traces these arguments on both levels: the individuals and the grammatical schools in pursuit of certain evidence which they provide to verify the validity of the views a certain grammatical school or nullify those of another The items of the research have been arranged in accordance with the position of the verses in Surat Al- Baqara.

The nature of the study entailed that it should be confined to two axes: the first is the syntactical disagreement among scholars regarding the proper nouns in Surat Al-Baqarah.

The second is the syntactical disagreement among scholars about certain nouns stated in Surat Al-Baqar
