Abstract EN

This study aimed to reveal the degree difficulties of teaching skills life subject at the basic education and post-basic education in the Sultanate of Oman from the perspective of teachers.

In addition, the study attempts to examine the effect of a set of variables including specialization, gender and educational qualification.

To achieve objectives of study the researchers used the descriptive methodology by preparing a questionnaire consisting of (41) items.

After checking the validity and reliability of the instrument, it was applied to the study sample consisting of (147) life skills teachers (males and females) from governments: Muscat and Sharqia north.

The result of the study showed that the degree of the difficulties encountering by teachers in teaching life skills was (3.
