This paper aimed to discuss the compliment (encomium) and vituperation (vilification)“ madahu wa zammu “ in Arabic language its different type, scholars veiws, and how they applied as a verb, segregation (perception), the stipulation in Arabic and earmarking designation of extolment and invective.

And also the paper highlighted the aspects that are similar with the laudation and dispagement and it mentioned in the Holy Qur’an in various verses.
