Arabic Abstract

This study aimed to identify the role of project management international standards in increasing the quality of the projects in the civil institutions that are operating in Gaza Strip through identifying the extent of awareness of these institutions toward these standards and its implementation in addition to the identification of the level of quality of the projects introduced by these institutions.

The researcher used the descriptive analytical method, The study population consisted of managers and project coordinators in the civil institutions working in the Gaza Strip who accounted for (560) project manager and coordinator according.

The researcher used a simple random sampling method; the study sample consisted of 220 project manager and coordinator.

The researcher used the questionnaire as a source for all the data.

The questionnaire has been distributed among the sample and 191 questionnaires have been obtained which represents 87% of the sample.

The study found that there is a significant statistical relationship between the availability of (integration project management, project scope management, project time management, project cost management, project quality management, human resources project management, project risk management, procurement project management, contacts management of the project) and the increased quality of the project, and the study found the presence of the impact of international standards for the management of projects to increase the quality of the project, and was the most influential standards to increase the quality of the project is a project resource management As well as, the study approved that there is no significant statistical differences between the averages of the study sample estimates regarding these areas (gender, age, years of experience, educational qualification, the number of projects that coordinator occupies in the organization, the nature of the work, type of the institution, the institution's work domain, job title (.

The study recommendations, include: there is a need to rely on standard costs to determine the real costs to complete the project.

The study also recommended that it is vital to obtain well-trained human resources who have the ability to set a plan to identify the channels of communication between all project-related parties and have a broad thought about the sound and right principles and standards of project management.

Other recommendations of the study stresses that the institution need to compare services provided by its project with services provided by other similar projects in order to improve the quality of its performance.
