This study aimed at analyzing the Geometry Content of Mathematics textbooks for the upper basic stage in Jordan using an analysis form that was developed in light of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics in USA (NCTM, 2000).
The results of the current study showed that the geometry standard, with its four domains, was not evenly represented in mathematics books for both the ninth and the tenth grade.
The representation ranged from (5,05%-64.21%) for the ninth grade, and from (0.47% -69.68%) for the tenth grade.
There were statistically significant differences in favor to the ninth -grade mathematics textbooks for the four domains.
