Abstract EN

The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in Multiple intelligence for the students of sport science faculty at mutah university according to gender and department.

Mckenzis (1999) Multiple intelligence scale was administered to randomly selected sample of (454), using two way ANOVA, results showed that the most prevalent intelligences among the students were interapersonal, odily/ inesthetic, xistentialist, ocial, aturalist, ogical/ athematical, visual/ special, musical/ hythmic, and verbal/ linguistic.

Physical education department excelled over sport rehabilitation department in visual/ pecial, bodily/ inesthetic musical/ hythmic, social, and existentialist intelligence.

Female excelled over male in visual/special, bodily/kinesthetic, musical/ hythmic, and naturalist intelligence.

The study recommended the need to modify the academic plane of sport science faculty at mutah university in the line with the characteristics of student Multiple intelligence and to use formal Arabic language during learning for the development of linguistic intelligence
