Abstract EN

The study amid at investigating the role of teacher in providing a safe school environment in Tafila Directorate of Education from the perspective of school principals, and at investigating if there are differences between the means of the principals degrees towards the role of teacher in providing a safe school environment attributed to the independent variables( gender, scientific qualification, and experienceing.

The researcher used the survey descriptive style was applied.

For achieving the objective of the study an instrument was developed consisted of (41) and items distributed into four domains, (administrative teacher’s behavior, technical teacher’s behavior, professional teacher’s behavior, and the assessment of teacher’s behavior).

Validity and reliability of the instrument was applied on the sample of the study (74) male and female principals in Tafila Directorate of Education.

Means, standard deviation and Manova were used.

The results showed that the role of teacher in providing safe school environment in Tafila Directorate of Education was moderate.

Also there was no statistical significantly differences in the role of teacher in providing safe school environment due to the independent variables.

The study concluded with number of recommendations.

such as a safe and supporting environments for a class must be available defensive environments should be avoided which show unsafe educational behavior such as, an arrogant, strict, and difficult teacher which leads to a bad competition.
