This study aims to analyze the impact of lowering the exchange rate on the Algerian trade balance during the period 1994-2013, through the elasticities account of exports and imports, And this study concluded that the devaluation of the dinar didn’t have a positive significant results on the national economy, especially in exports dominant in the hydrocarbon sector.
