Abstract EN

This study aims to investigate about the applications of Arabic calligraphy in interior design.

The main approach is the analytical approach of the basic content, as well as the descriptive approach as a supporting approach.

Observation was used as a mean for description of the six samples and models of the concerned study.

Samples were selected purposely.

The study concluded that observing the basics for design and the usage of applications of Arabic calligraphy in interior design achieve the aesthetic goal of applications of Arabic calligraphy in space.

Furthermore, the harmony between applications of Arabic calligraphy and space to be treated can be realized both in form as well as in color.

Hence applications of Arabic calligraphy in interior design creates the aesthetic and spiritual dimensions.

The study recommended that the basics for applications of Arabic calligraphy should always be considered in dealing with space in interior design
