Population Geography is characterized by linkage between population research and development issues, which is the phenomenon of Involuntary Unemployment One of the most important constraints.

The study aims to emphasize that Involuntary Unemployment is a problem that impact negatively on the development of the province of Kafr el-Sheikh, due to many factors, both on the supply side or in demand-side on the labor market, and The study shows that through the reality of Involuntary Unemployment, The most important factors,the centers that need to care, and the recommendations that will help to reduce the phenomenon, which emphasizes that the change in the Involuntary Unemployment rate is affected by the growth rate of the size of the population of working age, the growth rate of activity, and the Employment growth rate.

The study followed a number of approaches: Historical, Descriptive analytical, and Regional, in addition to Cartography methods, and statistical methods such as the program (SPSS).
