This research aimed at identifying the role of Technical Education in providing employment opportunities for trainees.

Moreover, it tries to give recommendations for improving and upgrading Technical Education by reviewing the pivots of Technical Education , as well as linking the effective factors .

For instance, objectives and contents of curriculum, trainer, equipments and tools used, level of vocational arrangements, field training or factors related to personal characteristics of trainer such as, type, age, school, specialization, academic qualifications and years of expertise.Researcher has adopted the descriptive and analytic approach, which relies on data collection and analysis.

He has used questionnaire to examine sample of study which includes (80) teachers of teaching staff of Technical Education, (180) students.

Researcher also employed averages, standard deviation and square for analyzing data.

Researcher has reached to the following results: Curriculum of Technical Education has clear objectives.

Curriculum of Technical Education meets the requirements of business market.

Field training does not contribute in providing employment opportunities for trainees.

Equipments and tools used in workshops and labs are incompatible with what is used in business market in the same specialization.

Admission provisions do not help objectives of Technical Education.

Many obstacles face the Technical Education including disarrangement, shortage of budget, absence of trained Educational staff, curriculum lacks a clear outlook, the opinion of community about Technical Education is passive, and over concern of state with academic Education.

Researcher has concluded his study with certain recommendations that may upgrade Technical Education to a higher level in order to provide employment opportunities for trainees through the following points: The necessity of improving curriculums of Technical Education to match business market.

Providing mechanism to elevate levels of coordination between the theoretical and practical trainers.

The necessity of elevating work skill levels through improving field training .

The necessity of finding mechanisms between the college and local community by field training in order to provide trainees with work opportunities.
