The research aims to assess the economic efficiency and their components (technical specialist) in the province of Baghdad season spring 2014 Data Envelopment Analaysis (DEA)was the sample 140 the size of a farm was chosen as the of Baghdad model applied to it from the provinces which is famous for the cultivation of potatoes has included a measure technical efficiency according with the constant and variable returns to scale and capacity efficiency (67.4%, 73.3%, 52.4%), respectively, and note the high technical competence according variable returns to scale, As well as the results showed economic efficiency and components (29.1%, 73.3%, 39.8%), respectively, that the reason for the low economic efficiency of the production of potato crop due to higher production requirements and the low productivity of the crop prices because of the waste of economic resources that lead to the weakness of allocative efficiency and non-use of economic resources crisis production optimally, the study found a set of recommendations including the provision of irrigation water, fertilizer, high-yield seeds at a reasonable price Moreover Agricultural Extension in providing services to farmers for the purpose of increasing the production quantity and quality at low cost all of this leads to efficiency as well as the need for rational use of optimization of inputs used and make it close or equal to the quantities of inputs achieve economic efficiency while maintaining on the same level of production as well as the study of the reasons thatIt led to the attainment of full efficiency on the farm.
