Abstract EN

This study aims to adjust the most important economic variables setting the inflationary process in Algeria during the period 1990-2014, considering that inflation is one of the basic indicators of the macro-economic stability.

Based on the theoretical framework and previous studies and models whose the study relied upon, both monetary theory and inflation theory variables resulting from the theory of inflation based on the payment of costs represent the basis of internal variables, while the real effective exchange rate and the volume of imports are the most important external variables.
