Abstract EN

The study aimed to investigate problems solving skills with the second year pupils “ experimental sciences branch” and to determine the differences in these skills according to sex.

The descriptive research has been used by the researcher because it’s suitable to such studies.

The choice of the study sample was made on a spot check and the sample seize was 300 pupils of both sex.

The study results found that pupils of the second year practise problems solving skills with different degrees from one skill to another.

They also revealed the existence of differences between the two sexes when it comes to the application of problems solving skills.

It’s been shown that females practise these skills more than males.
