English Abstract

Arab communities living these days, exciting times and moments in history which appears in the political movement and the popular revolutions in the Arab street, in order to stop the wheel of oppression and corruption and ensure a better future for these communities.

In Jordan launched a wave of demonstrations and protest marches across the country simultaneously with the violent Arab protests that erupted earlier in the 2011.

From here came this study which aimed to identify the extent of interest in the Jordanian daily press coverage of the protests, and the nature of the protesters' demands.

This study is classified within the descriptive quality of research of interest to study the phenomenon of information of the status quo through a systematic survey and content analysis.

The study found a set of results represents the most important patterns in the majority of press releases that have addressed the issues the protests was a news and news reports, representing (86.8%).

And that most of the protests came in the form of marches, representing (57.7%), and the organizers of these marches were from different sectors, the protesters' demands have focused on public issues, representing (63.1%).
