Abstract EN
This study aimed at studying the issue of self esteem and its relation to anxiety among a sample of education students in the Sudan University of Science and technology.
A second aim at uncovering the differences among the students in both self esteem and anxiety.
The researcher used the descriptive method for its value in collecting data and in reaching finding.
The sample is consisted of (305) students: (115) of them are males, and (190) are females.
The researcher used two tools for collecting data: a scale of self esteem by Cooper Smith, and an anxiety scale by Tyloor.
The statistical analysis involved: arithmetic mean, standard deviation, percentage, and T test.
The researcher obtained the following results: The level of the sample Scored low on the anxiety scale.
The score of the anxiety scale is found to be low among the sample.
There is no reverse correlation between self esteem and anxiety among the sample of the study.
