The Sovereign funds mechanism is not a new process of dealing even if it witnessed an increasing growth at the end of the twentieth century.

The financial engineering in this context is considered as a mean of develop the financial industry of the new financial innovations and it allows the Sovereign funds to have an bigger return of the assets than the traditional employment.

In this field, there are various models of this type of investment in which the Norwegian experience is the most efficient one in terms of management supervision and transparency.
