Abstract EN

teachers attitude in Jordan toward using social media (facebook) in teaching mathematics, the sample of the study consists of (80) male and female teachers that forms (50%) of the total population of the of the study (160) male and female teachers, those who teach high elementary stage in North East Badia Directorate.

The sample was chosen in stratified random method, due to the nature of the study descriptive method was used and to achieve the study’s outcomes trends scale was set up consisting of (27) items, reliability and validity of the scale was examined.

The study showed that the attitudes of mathematics’ teachers in Jordan toward using social media were with high positive degree, there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (a = 0.05) due to the variable sex.

There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (a = 0.05) attributed to the educational qualification variable, and in favor of (graduate) , as well as the presence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (a = 0.05) due to the variable teaching experience, and for the duration of experience (5 years or more).
