الملخص الإنجليزي

This study aimed at determining the classroom communication skills required of a sample of teachers of Arabic language and science in primary stage, as well as, to reveal the availability of these skills in this sample:, In addition to formulating a proposed view for the development of classroom communication skills of the teachers of the primary stage, and to make suggestions to develop classroom communication skills that are not available to the teachers of Arabic and science.

The two researchers have used the descrip ve analy cal method, the study sample consisted of (110) teachers (male and female) of primary stage, on the other hand, the observation card was used as a tool for the study.

The results of the study determined the communica on skills in five dimensions consis ng of (64) skills, The results showed the existence of statistically significant defferences between the performance of teachers of Arabic language and science teachers in the dimesion of oral- skills due to the variable of age in favor of Arabic langue teachers, and the lack of statiscally significant differences between the performance of teachers of Arabic language and science teachers in the other dimensions, as well as the existence of statistically significant differences between the performance of teachers due to the variable of sex in all dimensions.

There also were statistically significant differences in the performance of teachers due to experience in favor of the more than five years.

The two researchers have recommended that it is needed to take care of environment, means and message of classroom communication by holding training courses, workshops and study days for teachers, headmasters, and supervisors on the process of verbal and non-verbal communication, and how to overcome obstacles to classroom communication, teachers should be trainned to take advantage of modern technology in the communication process and revising the program of teacher education in Palestinian universities and colleges taking into account requiring a course of communication and effective educational communication.
