Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the obstacles that face basic education teachers in utilizing e-learning in teaching in Kosti locality.

The study used the descriptive methodology.

The study population comprised 1484 male and female teachers at basic education in Kosti locality.

A random sample of 150 male and female teachers was selected.

The questionnaire was used as tool for data collection.

The data were analyzed using the statistical package for social science (SPSS).

The study found that there is a knowledge gap in using E-learning ; Education administration does not pay enough attention to developing teachers' skills in using E-learning ; there is no educational environment for this type of education ; besides the weakness of financial support for the training of teachers.
