Abstract EN

The study relied on the analytical descriptive approach and the applied method.

The theoretical part in the introduction, dealt with the concept of argumentation in the language and terminology through books and modern and old Arabic and foreign dictionaries, then the uniqueness of the poetic discourse between reasoning and emotions, as well as tackling the argumentation ladder, links, and different mechanisms of argumentation.

Then the study targeted the concept of questioning as another mechanism of linguistic argumentation.

The study explained the rational behind choosing this concept of “question”, rather than “interrogation”.

After that, was the application part of the study, which analyzed the different aspects of the poetry of Fawzy Eissa ; romantic poetry, historical and philosophical poetry, social and political poetry, along with the indication of the argumentation of the question in each of these poetic fields.

The conclusion included the most important results, as well as, the references and citations.
